Alumnae gal Kat Leonard is a huuuuge Johnny Depp fan. At this point, those of us who know her are rolling our eyes and saying “Really? This is news?” Today (June 9) is his 48th birthday, and last night Kat held a CD release party (songs she’s written about and inspired by you-know-who) at the Smiling Buddha Bar. As reported here earlier, Kat has written and is performing in a show at this year’s Toronto Fringe Festival, “A Depper Kind of Love”. In a story published in yesterday’s National Post, Kat expounds on her mostly-harmless obsession, making your dreams come true, and her very understanding husband.
