The Queens – Nonnie Griffin interview

Hey all –

This just in, courtesy of Alumnae Marketing Director (and back-up bloggergal) Tina McCulloch:

Nonnie Griffin, who plays Margaret of Anjou (former Queen of England, married to Henry VI) in The Queens was interviewed via e-mail by Steven Berketo of the theatre website torontostage.com. She has some great insightful comments on her character, the play, and the craft of acting  in general.

Interesting trivia:  she has previously played Queen Margaret in Shakespeare’s Richard III, which was the inspiration for Chaurette’s The Queens!

Thanks Tina!

Stay tuned for more on our upcoming production of The Queens, which opens on the Alumnae Theatre main stage next Friday, April 16.
