It’s quiet now, but…

… y’all better rest up this long weekend, chickens, ‘cuz this is the calm before the storm of late spring/summer theatre. Coming up at Alumnae Theatre:

2011-12 season directors interviews. If you’re interested in pitching, the submission deadline is Friday, May 27 – and interviews will be held on Monday, May 30 and Tuesday, May 31. See the Alumnae website for the list of plays and other important details: http://www.alumnaetheatre.com/audit.html

Doors Open Toronto. Busy times at the old firehall on the last weekend of May, but we’ll be open to the public to visit on Saturday, May 28 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. as part of Doors Open Toronto.

NPD readings. The NPD (that’s New Play Development) gang’s afternoon of readings on Sunday, May 29 – that’s at 2 p.m. in the studio. Their annual Big Ideas readings event has been revamped this year to be a bird’s-eye view of monologues in progress, including the playwright/performer process.

Stay tuned for more news on Alumnae folks and friends performing in upcoming productions as well.
