2013-14 season at Alumnae Theatre Company

You may have noticed that Alumnae’s website hasn’t been updated since the audition notice was posted for The Underpants in late May.   That’s because – as I mentioned in a post here about a month ago – changes are afoot.  Including a revamped website!  But just to reassure you, yes – Alumnae is still producing a 2013-14 season.  And here it is:

The Underpants  by Carl Sternheim, adapted by Steve Martin  • Directed by Ginette Mohr  •  Sept 20 – Oct 5, 2013 • MAINSTAGE

** NEW THIS YEAR!  **  FireWorks  • Nov 13 – Dec 1, 2013 • STUDIO

3 plays presented in repertory, plus associated workshops :

Measure of the World by Shirley Barrie, directed by Molly Thom.

   • Gloria’s Guy by Joan Burrows, directed by Anne Harper.

   • Theory by Norman Yeung, directed by Joanne Williams.

The Lady’s Not for Burning  by Christopher Fry   •   Directed by Jane Carnwath • January 24 – February 8, 2014  • MAINSTAGE

New Ideas Festival   • March 12 – 30, 2014 • STUDIO

Rabbit Hole  by David Lindsay-Abaire  •  Directed by Paul Hardy   •  April 11 – 26, 2014  •   MAINSTAGE

There’s no change to most ticket prices or subscriptions.  Individual tickets to mainstage productions still range from PWYC Sunday matinees up to max $20.  New Ideas tickets are $15 per week, or $40 for a Festival Pass – OK: the pass price is up slightly!  FireWorks plays are $20 each, with an additional charge for workshops.  There will likely be a discounted price if you plan to see all three plays.  A season subscription – that’s NINE evenings of entertainment  (3 mainstage productions + 3 FireWorks plays + 3 weeks of the New Ideas Festival) is still only $75!  How can you beat that?

Stay tuned for the official season press release, news about FireWorks, etc.  If you would like a season brochure mailed to you (no obligation), please contact Lynne Patterson at subscriptions@alumnaetheatre.com.
