Sneak peek at “Rowing, Onwards” in Week Three of New Ideas Festival

Rowing, Onwards sent this 48-second video clip of a recent rehearsal.  It’s directed by Anne MacMillan;  the actors are Aleksandra Maslennikova and Matthew Gouveia.

The 12-minute play is written by Eugenie Carabatsos, whose name may be familiar to New Ideas audiences – her previous scripts in the Festival were In Their Glory (Reading, 2012) and Stalled (2013).  Rowing, Onwards is part of the Week Three lineup of this year’s New Ideas Festival.

Week Three  wraps up the New Ideas Festival, March 25-29.  PERFORMANCES: Wed – Sat at 8pm; Sat & Sun matinees at 2:30.

READING – noon on Saturday only:  The Creases in My Sari by Sindhuri Nandhakumar, directed by Joanne Williams.

TICKETS: $15 per week for performances (all 4 plays).
