Hey kids – still a few more chances to see the Alexander Singers and Players gorgeous production of My Fair Lady at the York Woods Library Theatre. The cast features Alum gal Andrea Brown in the lead role.
I saw the show on Saturday night with Alum SM/Secretary Margot Devlin and her husband Shaun – and we had a blast! Andrea was stunning, as always, and fellow actors Seth Mukamal (as Eliza’s father Alfred P. Doolittle), John Mallet (Henry Higgins) and Beth Roher (Mrs. Higgins) were also stand-outs. Costume designer Gwyneth Sestito (doing double duty as Musical Director) put together some fabulous togs for the cast – which was huge – the frocks were especially fabulous, especially Eliza’s ball gown. Audrey Hepburn would be proud!
The show runs till May 15 – best to book in advance, as these guys are a popular group: www.alexandersingers.com
