New Ideas Festival 2014 – the lineup!

After a productive “Creative Exchange” (writers whose plays had already been selected for the Festival met the director applicants – kinda like speed dating) on November 9, Alumnae Theatre Company proudly presents the lineup for the 26th annual New Ideas Festival, to run March 12 – 30, 2014 in Alumnae Theatre’s Studio space.

96 writers (from all over Canada plus the U.S. and UK) submitted original short plays which have never before been produced, making every play in the Festival a world premiere!  From this, 15 scripts were selected.  New Ideas features a different lineup each week, plus Talkback sessions that encourage audiences to provide immediate feedback to writers and directors.  Here’s the lineup of plays with writers and directors.
