New Ideas Festival 2014 – the lineup!

After a productive “Creative Exchange” (writers whose plays had already been selected for the Festival met the director applicants – kinda like speed dating) on November 9, Alumnae Theatre Company proudly presents the lineup for the 26th annual New Ideas Festival, to run March 12 – 30, 2014 in Alumnae Theatre’s Studio space.

new ideas_woman 96 writers (from all over Canada plus the U.S. and UK) submitted original short plays which have never before been produced, making every play in the Festival a world premiere!  From this, 15 scripts were selected.  New Ideas features a different lineup each week, plus Talkback sessions that encourage audiences to provide immediate feedback to writers and directors.  Here’s the lineup of plays with writers and directors.
